Ron Novas – Executive Vice President
Ron Novas is the Grandson of Miami Waste Paper founder Roy Kopstein, but he brings much more to the company than good genes. Ron is a Certified Public Account formerly with one of the nations “Top 5” accounting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers. Before returning to the family business as Executive Vice President in 2004 he was also the Director of Internal Audit at Norwegian Curse Lines (NCL). Ron’s business acumen and proven leadership has forged the strategic vision and ethical corporate culture of Miami Waste Products.

David Novas – Vice President of Sales & Operations
David has been involved in the family business since 1981. He possesses a unique understanding of the recycling business that only comes with that kind of experience. David was the Forman of Operations under Roy Kopstein, and was his “Right Hand Man” until the time of his passing, when he assumed the responsibilities of Vice President of Sales and Operations.

Danny Dussan – Account Representative & Fiber Procurement
Danny brings to Miami Waste Paper many years of experience with compaction and baling equipment. Prior to joining MWP in 2005, he was a top salesman with the Van Dyke Baler Corporation. Today Danny is instrumental in attracting new accounts and increasing fiber procurement. Danny takes the lead role in developing recycling programs for any business. He is an expert in showing how easy it can be to reduce waste disposal and hauling costs and increase recycling revenue. Danny’s background and expertise in baling and compaction equipment means he can help you find the right equipment for your business.

Gladys Iglesias – Corporate Secretary
Gladys is a Miami Waste Paper veteran who has been with the company since 1979. Ask Ron Novas what she does, and he’ll say, “she runs the place”. Gladys is responsible for customer service, shipping, logistics and all traffic activities. She oversees the dispatch of trucks and handles human resources.
